Dear Roselyn & Henry,

Just a card to let you know that all is well in N Africa.

It's becoming terribly hot here now.

We expect to be leaving here in a day or two and move up; we are told everything is ready for us.

We have had very few letters since arriving here - it takes ages to get mail through.

I have met quite a few girls I know. It's nice to meet old friends and to have a long chat with them.

This is really a delightful spot - everything seems so beautiful here, the flowers are really beautiful & it's lovely having fresh fruit & vegetables.

I'm not able to tell you anything really. Hope you are all quite well. Love to all. Your loving Cousin, Rene. xxx.

After the war, Rene married

Kenneth Walter Price.

Tragically, in 1973, they were both killed in a motor accident when motoring toward Scotland on coast road.
