Winterbourne, St Michael's School - Jack and the Beanstalk - photo taken outside the theatre - 1948

Excerpt from School Log Book.....

16.1.1948 - The whole School saw “Jack and the Beanstalk” at the Empire this afternoon.

The 160 children and staff were conveyed in five coaches.

All expenses were paid from the School Fund. 160 tickets at 2/6 + five coaches at £2 each.

Names of the above children have been sent in by Sharon Sheere, and remembered here by her mum.        See below.
