Whiteshill British School – c1894 - [Group 4]

In the centre of the front row is Amelia Player

Levi Luff, the Headmaster, is seen here on the left. The teacher on the right, we think, is his wife Constance Luff.

The school at that time was situated behind the Congregational Chapel on Whites Hill Common, and moved to the new Hambrook School on the other side of Whites Hill Common in 1911.
