Girls Friendly Society Competition – Frenchay Girls – 1939

Gwen Robbins [nee Ettles], in the year 2000, recalls: – The uniform was white silk blouse and light grey skirt for the four in front, white silk blouse and red skirt and red cap for the outside two. The Dance competition was held in Bristol. The Music was ‘Post Horn Gallop’. The four girls in grey acted as the horses, two girls in red as the jockeys. Mrs Guy was dance teacher and Betty Rose was pianist.
